At Lash City London Ltd we take privacy seriously and only use the information we collect to provide our services. We do not share or sell the information we collect for any other purpose other than providing the best possible service for our clients. At any time, you may request a copy of the information we have recorded about you.

THE TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We request a minimal level of personally identifying information. This is to ensure there are no contraindications to your treatment and legal requirements. You can of course refuse to provide the information, however, unfortunately, we would not be able to perform the treatment as this information is a legal requirement from our insurance.

 

This is data you provide us directly for example your name, contact details, and date of birth. We will never obtain details about you indirectly from sources outside our business. We have a legal obligation to store your details for seven years after your most recent appointment. After this time your records will be destroyed in a method compliant with GDPR.

 

We store notes with respect to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service. For example, your preferred lash style, or how many minutes were used on our tanning machine.

Depending on the particular service(s) we are providing, we may be required to ask questions related to your medical history. We will obtain your explicit consent prior to storing information related to your medical history. Examples of medical data may be allergies, pregnancy, or an injury that may impact our service. Records retained on paper, which is locked in a cabinet within the salon, is on accessible by staff of Lash City London Ltd. Records recorded on the salon's software are password protected and only accessible by staff of Lash City London Ltd.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA​

Appointment confirmations and reminders:

We will contact you via phone, email, or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments.

Marketing:

We may occasionally send SMS or mail marketing campaigns related to your birthday, the fact we miss you, and other special days like Valentine's day or Christmas day. Of course, you may opt-out of receiving marketing material at any time.

We use numerous leading software solutions within our business to provide the services listed above. These software solutions store and process data in numerous locations outside our business premises. You may also come across hyperlinks on this site. These hyperlinks may take you to sites operated by other organizations which you agree we are not responsible for.  When preparing our website we have taken every care possible. However, we have no control over any of the information you can access via other websites and, in particular, we are not responsible for the privacy policies adopted by such other websites. Therefore, no mention of any organization, company or individual to which our website is linked shall imply any approval or warranty as to the standing and capability of any such organization, company, or individual on the part of Lash City London salon.

HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your information is securely stored at Lash City London Ltd.

​

We keep data you provide us directly such as your full name, contact number, email address, and any other information you choose to provide stored on our booking system which is secured with a password.  We also have a full client history of any treatments provided by us and any notes we take that may help us improve our services. This record is kept for seven years and then deleted entirely from the system.

Consent forms are completed by all new clients and are filed and locked away safely. These are kept for seven years for insurance purposes then are safely shredded after this time.
